500 - Process Technicians

Operates, monitors, and controls multiple sections of the chemical process plant, including utility or waste treatment units. Utilizes computer control systems, quality control methods, and process operating/troubleshooting techniques.  Takes process samples and performs minor lab analysis, minor maintenance work, and housekeeping assignments. Include all levels (entry through senior)

501 - Mechanic/Millwright

Performs routine and specialized maintenance on equipment and performs equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis.  Uses vendor manuals, drawings, and part lists to troubleshoot equipment problems.  Uses power and hand tools in performance of work, as well as precision machinist's tools for alignment and assembly.

502 - Instrument (I&E) Technician

Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles equipment to support safe, environmentally sound, reliable, and optimum plant operations. Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs systems. Performs quality checks.

503 - Maintenance Technician

Responsible for shop and fieldwork required for the maintenance, repair, and construction of the facility.  Skills include machining, welding, pipefitting, valve and pump repair, boilermaker, electrical and instrumentation work.  This position covers entry level, which requires five years of related industrial or military experience.

504 - Laboratory Technician

Performs tests and analysis on a wide variety of samples taken from the manufacturing process and from the environment. May calibrate and perform maintenance on equipment. Maintains records. Include all levels. Requires two years of college.

505 - Production Worker / Operator (not otherwise classified)

506 - Shift Lead

Reports to the Unit Team Leader. Has the authority and responsibility to make sure work is done on shift per instructions and normal procedures. Makes adjustments to section assignments as needed.

101 - Administrative Assistant II (lower level)

Performs general administrative and clerical duties necessary to meet needs of the department, and assumes responsibility for other duties based on degree of knowledge of department operations, such as, prepares designated reports for management; responds to inquiries and provides information in accordance with policies and procedures.

102 - Administrative Assistant I (higher level)

Under limited supervision, plans and conducts assigned administrative tasks and projects which are broad in nature. Applies independent judgment and originality in the solution of problems.  Typically has a bachelors degree and at least 3 years of experience related to the assignment.
